Enoch Thompson | October 23 2025 | Acts 18:5-6   KEY VERSE: “But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, ‘Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.’”  (Acts 18:6, NIV) MESSAGE:   The idea that God may hold us accountable for the spiritual fate of others is a sobering truth—one that should awaken us to the urgency of our Christian witness. Paul understood this deeply. In Corinth, he faithfully proclaimed Christ to the Jewish community, reasoning from the Scriptures and proving that Jesus of Nazareth was the promised Messiah. He declared that although they had crucified Him in ignorance, Jesus had risen in power and now calls all people, Jew and Gentile alike, to believe and be saved. When the Jews rejected the message and became abusive, Paul made a decisive statement: “Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility.”  Paul had done his part. He had shared the truth and was now free from guilt regarding their spiritual condition.   This teaches us an enduring principle: we are responsible for sharing the Gospel, but not accountable for how people respond to it. Still, we must take our responsibility seriously. God places people in our lives—family, friends, students, coworkers, and neighbours—and we are accountable for how we influence them spiritually. Parents will answer for how they raised their children in the knowledge of God. Teachers will answer for the seeds they sowed or failed to sow in their students. Elders must consider the impact they have on younger believers. Spiritual leaders will give an account for every soul under their care. Even young believers are responsible for sharing Christ with unconverted friends and family.   What a sobering thought—that we would be held accountable for the souls of others! Let this truth stir us to godliness, compassion, and boldness in sharing the Gospel. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: You are accountable to God for someone’s soul. Identify those within your reach and share the Gospel with clarity, love, and a sense of urgency. Live and serve in such a way that you can say, like Paul, “I am innocent of the blood of all people.”   PRAYER: Lord, this is a weighty truth. You have entrusted me with influence and opportunities to share Your Gospel. Forgive me for the times I’ve been silent or indifferent. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 296  Ezekiel 44-48 - A Holy People, a New Land, and the Lord is There       DAILY word study: OPPOSED The word “opposed” in Acts 18:6 is translated from the Greek antitassō, meaning “to set oneself against” or “to arrange in resistance.” It conveys a deliberate, organised rejection — not mere disagreement, but active resistance to the truth. In Corinth, Paul faced hostility from the Jewish community, which refused to accept Jesus as the Messiah. Yet he remained faithful to his calling. This word reminds us that opposition does not excuse silence. Even when people resist, our duty is to speak the truth in love. Reflect on this: Are you silent where God expects you to speak?

Enoch Thompson | October 22 2025 | Acts 18:1-5   KEY VERSE: “When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.”  (Acts 18:5, NIV) MESSAGE:   The Great Commission calls every believer to take part in sharing the message of Jesus Christ with the world and making disciples of all nations. This is not the work of a few—it is the shared calling of the entire Church. Every follower of Jesus is to live in a way that proclaims His love, death, and resurrection. Some believers, however, are called to full-time ministry. They give their time, strength, and hearts to preaching, teaching, and caring for others. These servants and the ministries they lead need financial and material support from the wider body of Christ. In Acts 18:3–4, Paul worked as a tentmaker while preaching in Corinth, balancing his ministry with manual work. But when Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, they brought financial support from the believers there. (see 2 Corinthians 11:8-9) This allowed Paul to focus fully on preaching and teaching the Word. That simple act of generosity made ministry easier. Ministry flourishes when the Church supports its ministers. Those called to lead, teach, and shepherd others need the backing of the people they serve. True partnership in the Gospel includes prayer, encouragement, and financial giving. God blesses those who invest in the advancement of His Kingdom. When we support those who proclaim His Word, we take part in the harvest they produce. Every gift, every contribution, and every act of generosity helps the Gospel reach more people and strengthens those who serve. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: Do you set aside part of your income to support Gospel ministries and ministers? Do you give generously when needs are shared by those serving on the frontlines of ministry? Be intentional about making ministry easier for those called to serve full-time.   PRAYER: Lord, You own all things, and You entrust me with resources to advance Your Kingdom. Forgive me for the times I have withheld support for Your work. Teach me to give freely and joyfully. Strengthen every servant who labours in Your name and let Your Word spread without hindrance. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 295  Ezekiel 39-34 - The Final Battle and the Glory of the Lord Returns DAILY word study: DEVOTED The word “devoted” in Acts 18:5 comes from the Greek syneicheto, meaning “to be fully occupied with” or “to give oneself completely to.” It suggests total focus and commitment — leaving no space for distraction. When Paul received support from Silas and Timothy, he was freed to dedicate himself entirely to preaching. The word shows not just time spent, but wholehearted surrender to a task. In ministry, devotion comes when God’s servants can focus fully on their calling. Support makes this possible. When believers share their resources, they share in the fruit of that devotion. Reflect on this: How can your generosity help someone give their full attention to God’s work?

Enoch Thompson | October 21 2025 | Acts 18:1-4   KEY VERSE: “Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.”  (Acts 18:4, NIV) MESSAGE:   True Christian faith engages the whole person—body, soul, and spirit. Our walk with God is not meant to operate in one area while neglecting the others.   Some believers relate to God mainly through learning. They love theology and doctrine but show little emotion in worship. Others express their faith through feelings—joy, tears, or laughter—but without deep grounding in the truth of Scripture. Still, others depend on outward acts of devotion without genuine spiritual or thoughtful engagement. Biblical faith brings balance. It draws the heart, mind, and body into unity. We are to love God passionately, think deeply about His Word, and live out what we believe.   In Acts 18:4, Paul reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, persuading both Jews and Greeks. His approach involved dialogue and thoughtful exchange. He didn’t merely preach—he reasoned. He engaged minds and invited understanding. This shows that our faith must be well-informed and clearly expressed. Scripture urges us in 1 Peter 3:15–16 to always be ready to explain our hope in Christ with gentleness and respect. This requires study, reflection, and a growing grasp of God’s truth. A well-rounded believer worships with emotion, acts with devotion, and reasons with understanding. Faith that touches all parts of our being draws others to a God who renews the whole person. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 294  Ezekiel 34-38 - Restoration, Renewal, and the Breath of Life DAILY word study: PERSUADE The word “persuade” in Acts 18:4 comes from the Greek peithō, which means “to convince,” “to win over,” or “to inspire trust.” Paul’s teaching invited conviction, not pressure. His reasoning aimed to awaken belief by appealing to truth and conscience. He connected faith to understanding and led his listeners toward trust in Christ. Persuasion in faith is not manipulation; it is truth shared with clarity and love. When believers live and speak this way, hearts open naturally to God’s Word. Reflect on this: How can your words and actions today help someone trust Christ more deeply?

Tse Amable | October 20 2025 | Acts 17:32-34   KEY VERSE: “When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, ‘We want to hear you again on this subject.’ At that, Paul left the Council . ” (Acts 17:32-33 , NIV) MESSAGE:   Apostle Paul faithfully fulfilled his duty as a witness for Jesus Christ. He shared the truth that leads to eternal life eloquently and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Sadly, many in his audience did not believe the message or accept Jesus Christ as Lord. Some openly sneered and made fun of what they heard. Others delayed their decision and asked for more time. Yet, praise be to God — His word never returns void. The chapter ends with good news: “A few men became followers of Paul and believed. Among them was Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus, also a woman named Damaris, and a number of others” (Acts 17:34, NIV). Having done his part, Apostle Paul left the council of the Areopagus for another place.   Understand that your duty is to share the gospel truthfully and in the power of the Holy Spirit. But it is the Holy Spirit’s work to convict hearts and bring people to repentance. Jesus said, “When He (the Holy Spirit) comes, He will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment”  (John 16:8, NIV). Remember also, not everyone will respond to the gospel at the same time. Some may come to faith much later. Earlier in Paul and Barnabas’s ministry at Antioch, Scripture says, “When the Gentiles heard this, they were very glad and thanked the Lord for His message; and all who were chosen for eternal life became believers”  (Acts 13:48, NLTSE). God has His appointed time for everyone. Therefore, do your part —share the message of Jesus — and leave the result to God. Keep praying for those who have heard, so the seed you planted will be watered and grow. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: How do you react when unbelievers mock or ridicule your witness? Take heart — they are not rejecting you. Jesus said, “If they had listened to Me, they would listen to you. They will do all this to you because of Me, for they have rejected the One who sent Me” (John 15:20-21, NLTSE) . So keep preaching the gospel and leave the result to God. PRAYER: Father, thank You for choosing me as Your ambassador. Help me stay focused on the message of the Cross, even when I face opposition, mockery, or ridicule. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 293  Ezekiel 29-33 - God’s Word to the Nations and Watchmen to Israel DAILY word study: SNEERED The word "sneered" is derived from the Greek χλευάζω (chleuazō), which means to mock, ridicule, or treat with contempt. It describes the attitude of those who heard Paul’s message about the resurrection and responded with scorn instead of faith. Their reaction was just disbelief and dismissal. They laughed at the truth they couldn’t understand. But Paul didn’t argue or defend himself. He left the results to God, trusting that those meant to believe would eventually do so. Reflect on this: When people mock your faith, how do you respond — with argument or quiet trust in God’s timing?

Tse Amable | October 19 2025 | Acts 17:22-31   KEY VERSE: “He has given proof of this to all men by raising Him from the dead . ” (Acts 17:31b , NIV) MESSAGE:   God, in His dealings with human beings, always leaves us with clear evidence that leads us to the truth. For example, the created world points to the reality of a Creator — Almighty God. In Romans 1, Apostle Paul explained that what may be known about God is plain to humanity because God has made it plain to them. He concluded that people are without excuse if they choose not to believe in Him (Romans 1:19–20). Earlier in that same letter, Paul declared that Jesus Christ was “declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead”  (Romans 1:4). If you are looking for proof that Jesus of Nazareth is truly the long-expected Messiah, His resurrection is that proof. In his discourse at the Areopagus, Apostle Paul declared that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is proof that He will one day judge the world in righteousness. The fact that Jesus died, was buried, and rose triumphantly from the grave after three days is the unshakable evidence that you too will be raised from the dead to stand before the Just Judge and give an account of your life. Above all, the resurrection of Jesus Christ proves His supremacy — He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. One day, every knee will bow before Him, and every tongue will confess that He alone is Lord. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith. The Jewish authorities, aided by Pilate and his soldiers, tried to hide this truth but failed completely. It was the central message the early apostles boldly proclaimed. Can you defend the truth of the resurrection before unbelievers? You are a witness of this truth. Therefore, prepare your heart and your words so that when you are called to testify, you will speak with conviction and clarity. PRAYER: Father, I thank You that we serve a risen Saviour and Lord who has called me to be His witness. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 292  Ezekiel 24-28 - Judgment Begins at Home and Reaches the Nations DAILY word study: PROOF The word "proof" comes from the Greek "pistis," meaning assurance, evidence, or confidence that confirms truth. In this verse, Paul explains that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the undeniable evidence that He is both Lord and Judge. It isn’t a theory or an idea — it’s a historical and spiritual fact backed by God’s own action. The resurrection assures us that Jesus has the final authority over life and death, giving every believer solid ground for faith and hope. Reflect on this: What does the resurrection prove to you personally — and how does that truth strengthen your confidence in Christ today?

Tse Amable | October 18 2025 | Acts 17:22-31 KEY VERSE: “For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the man He has appointed . ” (Acts 17:31a , NIV) MESSAGE:   Towards the end of his presentation to this powerful council of judges, Apostle Paul spoke about the judgment which shall certainly take place at the end of this sinful age and revealed who the judge would be. Even though he did not mention the name of the judge, the reference to the resurrection pointed fingers at who the judge would be. Apostle Paul proceeded to say that this judge “will judge the world WITH JUSTICE.” The KJV says the judge “will judge the world IN RIGHTEOUSNESS That is a picture of the judge we need to sit on the bench in our judicial system. In our world, our court systems are sometimes managed by corrupt judges who sell justice to the highest bidder. Because they are influenced by money and material gifts through bribes, some judges convict the innocent but acquit the guilty. The judgment of Jesus Christ will be very fair to all persons because he will judge in righteousness and justice. In his letter to the Romans, Apostle Paul revealed how God will judge the world. He wrote that when his righteous judgment is revealed, God “will give to each person according to what he has done.... There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honour and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile” and concluded that “God does not show favouritism” (Romans 2:5-11, NIV). You therefore have nothing to fear if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and are living righteously. But if you have not and are living in sin, repent now. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: Jesus Christ is the standard every judge must aspire to meet. Our judicial system must be in the hands of Christian magistrates and judges who handle all cases without fear or unnecessary favour. Is there any change you must effect in your life as you prepare to face Justice Jesus Christ on his judgment throne? If you must repent, do it now. PRAYER: Father, I thank you that Jesus Christ is a just judge who will judge the world in righteousness. I pray that you bless our nation with judges who will not be compromised with bribes, delivering judgments that are not just. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 291  Ezekiel 19-23 - Warnings to a Rebellious People DAILY word study: JUSTICE The word "justice" in Acts 17:31 originates from the Greek word dikaiosynē, which translates to righteousness, fairness, or uprightness. I t describes a moral and divine standard where every action and judgment aligns perfectly with what is right in the eyes of God. When Paul said that Jesus would judge the world “with justice,” he was declaring that Christ’s verdicts will be without bias, deceit, or error. Unlike human judges who can be influenced, Jesus judges from truth itself — because He is truth. God’s justice doesn’t merely punish wrong; it also upholds what is right and restores what is broken. Reflect on this: How does knowing that Jesus will judge with perfect justice shape the way you live, decide, and treat others today?

Rev. Tse Amable | October 17 2025 | Acts 17:22-31   KEY VERSE: “In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead . ” (Acts 17:30-31 , NIV) When you look around the world, you see a lot of ungodliness being perpetuated. People have chosen to break God’s holy laws with impunity. The day of judgment is definitely coming, and it is coming sooner rather than later. Everyone will face Jesus Christ, the Supreme Judge. This is the message Apostle Paul drove into the hearts and minds of this powerful council of people who sat in judgment of persons brought before them.   The Bible is very clear that one day we will all appear before the judgment seat of God, whom Abraham called “the Judge of all the earth” (Genesis 18:25, NIV). The caution Apostle Paul gave was “in the past God overlooked such ignorance”. God shall judge every deed of unrighteousness. John, the Revelator wrote: “And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were JUDGED according to what they had done as recorded in the books” (Revelation 20:12, NIV). One popular warning of scripture says “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27, KJV).   The good news is you are not yet dead, and you have the opportunity to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. Today, you can be saved from the wrath of the Holy Judge and not go to live eternity in hell. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: The Bible says, “we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10, NIV). If you should stand before the judgment throne of God, what would you say in response to his charges against you? Remember, there will be no repentance after death. THEREFORE, IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO REPENT OF, DO IT TODAY BECAUSE TOMORROW MAY NOT MEET YOU AMONG THE LIVING. PRAYER: Father, teach me to live right and to prepare a strict account to render when I stand before your judgment seat. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 290   Ezekiel 14-18 - Personal Responsibility and the Call to Repent DAILY word study : JUDGE The word judge comes from the Greek krinō, which means to separate, decide, or pronounce judgment. It describes God’s perfect ability to distinguish right from wrong and to give every person what is due. Unlike human judgment, which can be biased or limited, God’s judgment is always righteous and final. Paul’s message in Athens reveals that judgment is not just a warning—it’s a promise of accountability and justice. The risen Christ is both the proof and the appointed Judge. His resurrection assures the world that justice will prevail, and every hidden deed will be brought to light. Reflect on this: If God were to judge your life today, what would He find that still needs to be made right?

Tse Amable | October 16 2025 | Acts 17:22-31   KEY VERSE: “Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by man's design and skill . ” (Acts 17:29 , NIV) MESSAGE:   One of the things which caught the attention of Apostle Paul in Athens was that the city was full of idols. The Bible says that observation greatly distressed him, and he could not leave it out in his address at the Areopagus. Man’s fall from God and the true worship of him is manifested in man using his own hands to create an idol and bowing in worship to what he had made himself. We saw an example of man’s depravity in Aaron's fashioning the golden calf from the gold earrings supplied by the wives and daughters of the Israelites with his hands, using a tool and telling the Israelites, “These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt” (Exodus 32:4, NIV). How sad! In Romans 1, Apostle Paul makes it clear that when we refuse to glorify God or give thanks to Him, our thinking becomes futile and our foolish hearts are darkened. The result is that we exchange the glory of the immortal God for images made to resemble mortal humans, birds, and reptiles (Romans 1:21-23). The Psalmist ridiculed the worship of idols. He said they have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but they cannot see; they have ears, but cannot hear, noses, but they cannot smell; they have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but they cannot walk; nor can they utter a sound with their throats (Psalms 115:5-7 NIV) and concluded that “those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them” (Psalms 115:8, NIV). Besides the foolishness of worshipping an idol, it breaks the first of the ten commandments, which says “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; .....” (Exodus 20:4-5, NIV). FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: An idol is anything which has come between you and God, anything you love and cherish more than you love God. Examine your heart and see if there is any object (it can be your car, mansion, position, etc.) or even a human being (your spouse, children, employer, etc.) that you are worshipping. Repent immediately if you find an “idol” in your heart or life. PRAYER: Father, I come to you in humility. The dearest idol I have known, whatever that idol be, help me to tear it from your throne and worship only you. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen! THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING. SHOWERS! The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 289  Ezekiel 9-13 - The Glory Departs and False Peace Exposed DAILY word study: IMAGE The word image in Acts 17:29 is translated from the Greek eikōn, meaning “likeness, representation, or form.” It refers to something that imitates or reflects another reality. Paul used this word to expose the error of creating visible objects to represent God. While humans are made in God’s image, we are not to make images of God. The difference is critical—one expresses relationship; the other distorts it. God is Spirit, eternal and unseen, and cannot be reduced to material form. When we worship anything man-made, we replace revelation with imitation—and that always leads to spiritual emptiness. Reflect on this: Is there anything in your life—visible or invisible—that has taken the place of God’s presence in your heart?

Tse Amable | October 15 2025 | Acts 17:22-31   KEY VERSE: “’For in Him we live and move and have our being’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘we are His Offspring.’” (Acts 17:28 , NIV) MESSAGE:   Knowing the calibre and pedigree of the persons Apostle Paul was addressing at the Areopagus (very learned and educated philosophers), he drew deeply from his own reserve of knowledge. He brought out two quotations attributed to two Greek poets, Epimenides the Cretan and Aratus. Apostle Paul did not quote these men because they were prophets or because all their teaching was of God. He quoted them because these specific words reflected a Biblical truth, and by using them, he could build a bridge to his pagan audience. God, our Creator, designed our lives to be lived IN HIM. At creation, the Bible says “the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living BEING” (Genesis 2:7, NIV). What gave BEING to humankind is the breath of God. That is why it is only in God that we have our being. Anybody who does not live IN GOD will be like a fish trying to live outside the river or sea. That fish will die. Jesus Christ compared our lives to the way a branch of a tree must stay connected to the tree. He said, “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. IF A MAN REMAINS IN ME AND I IN HIM, HE WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT; APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING” (John 15:4-5 NIV). If you do a cursory reading of the epistle to Ephesians, you come across the two words “IN HIM” dotted throughout the epistle (see Ephesians 1:4,7,11, 13, Ephesians 2:21,22, etc). You can find similar references in other Pauline epistles. Every spiritual blessing contained in the scriptures can only be received and enjoyed when we abide in Jesus Christ because IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: The Bible says, “Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, CONTINUE TO LIVE IN HIM, ROOTED AND BUILT UP IN HIM ....” (Colossians 2:6-7 NIV). The place where you begin IN HIM is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord. Then you continue by staying in fellowship with him through prayer, Bible study, obedience and fellowship with other believers. Are you faithfully doing this? PRAYER: Father, I thank you that it is in Jesus Christ that we live, move and have our being. Please help me to abide in you as a branch of the True Vine so that I can bear fruit that will remain. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 288  Ezekiel 4-8 - Signs of Judgment: The Coming Discipline of God DAILY word study: BEING The word 'being' in Acts 17:28 is translated from the Greek ousia, meaning existence or substance. It speaks of what gives life its essence and identity. To say in Him we have our being means our very existence depends on God. We don’t just belong to Him—we draw our life from Him. Without God, life loses its purpose and meaning. When Paul quoted the Greek poets, he was helping his listeners understand that every breath, every heartbeat, and every movement comes from God’s sustaining power. True life is not independence—it is continual dependence on the One who made us. Reflect on this: Are you living each day aware that your life flows from God, or have you been trying to exist apart from Him?

Tse Amable | October 14 2025 | Acts 17:22-31   KEY VERSE: “God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:27 , NIV) MESSAGE:   One of the foundational truths which Jesus Christ taught in the Sermon on the Mount is “SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND” (Matthew 7:7). This truth applies to seeking the Lord. Human beings will always spend time, money, and energy seeking the things that are important to them. People spend fortunes seeking pleasure, fame, health, and other things. Jesus Christ spoke the parable of the lost coin in which a woman who lost one of her silver coins lit a lamp, swept the house and searched carefully until she found it (Luke 15:8). In today’s key verse, Apostle Paul proclaimed to the Areopagus that the Lord would have us seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him. Centuries before Jesus Christ entered our universe, Jehovah spoke through Prophet Isaiah, “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6, NIV). Again, the Lord spoke through Prophet Jeremiah, “And ye SHALL seek me, and find me, when ye SHALL search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13 KJV). Note that the Lord used “SHALL”, which makes seeking the Lord obligatory, not optional. The good news is that the Lord makes it easy for us to seek Him so that we can find Him. Apostle Paul said God “IS NOT FAR FROM EACH ONE OF US”. He sent his Son to live here among us, and the Son said, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9 NIV). Today, God is very near to us in the scriptures and the sermons we hear week after week. Hear the word of the Lord: “HE WHO SEEKS FINDS” (Matthew 7:8). Therefore, seek the Lord with all your heart while he may be found. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: The Psalmist says, “AS THE DEER PANTS FOR STREAMS OF WATER, SO MY SOUL PANTS FOR YOU, O GOD” (Psalms 42:1 NIV). Do you have a thirst for God? SEEK HIM AND YOU SHALL FIND HIM. How do you make it easy for seekers to find the Lord? The Bible says you are God’s letter, known and read by everyone (2 Corinthians 3:2). Therefore, live a righteous life, which can help lost souls seeking God to find Him. PRAYER: Father, I thank you that in Jesus Christ and in the gospel of salvation by faith, you made it easy for us to find you. Help me live my life in a way that will point a lost soul earnestly seeking you to find you. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen! THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING. SHOWERS! BLESSINGS!! The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 287: Lamentations 4-5; Ezekiel 1-3 -From Lament to Calling: Grief and the Glory of God DAILY word study : SEEK The word seek in Acts 17:27 comes from the Greek word zēteō, which means “to look for, to search diligently, or to desire earnestly.” It carries the sense of pursuing something of great value. To seek God means more than curiosity—it is a deliberate pursuit driven by desire and devotion. It involves prayer, reflection, obedience, and surrender. God wants to be found, but only by those who truly desire Him. Seeking God transforms us; it changes our focus from worldly things to spiritual things. Reflect on this: Are you seeking God because you need something from Him, or because you long to know Him?

Tse Amable | October 13 2025 | Acts 17:22-31   KEY VERSE: The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands.” (Acts 17:24 , NIV) MESSAGE:   It is true that God does not live in temples built by hands. But it is also true that GOD LOVES TEMPLES BUILT BY HUMAN HANDS AND BLESSES THOSE WHO BUILD THEM. In Exodus chapter 25, Jehovah instructed Moses to take an offering from the children of Israel and went on to say, “LET THEM MAKE ME A SANCTUARY; THAT I MAY DWELL AMONG THEM” (Exodus 25:8, KJV). Centuries later, King David had a desire to build a temple for the Lord. God did not reject the idea but revealed that it was King Solomon who would build the temple. On the day King Solomon dedicated the completed Jerusalem temple, the Bible says, “fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and THE GLORY OF THE LORD FILLED THE TEMPLE .....”  (2 Chronicles 7:1-2, NIV). The glory of the Lord signified the presence of the Lord in the temple. Many centuries later, the Jerusalem Temple had fallen into disrepair and neglect. The Israelites were building their own houses instead of repairing the house of the Lord. As punishment for the neglect, the Lord cursed the nation with poverty (see Haggai 1:9). This is how the curse worked: “You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” (Haggai 1:6 NIV). To stop the curse, the Lord spoke to the nation, “Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and BUILD THE HOUSE, SO THAT I MAY TAKE PLEASURE IN IT AND BE HONOURED” (Haggai 1:8, NIV). When we build temples (SHELTER FOR WORSHIP), we honour the Lord and he blesses us with prosperity. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: What is your concern towards the poor state of the chapel, sanctuary, auditorium, etc., in which you worship? Do you contribute financially and materially towards building shelters for worship for congregations that worship under trees, canopies, classrooms, etc.? PRAYER: Father, forgive us for neglecting your house and concentrating on building our mansions. Give us the willing heart of the Israelites under Moses and during the reign of King David to contribute our “gold, silver and bronze” in building shelters for worship everywhere that one is needed. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen! THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING. SHOWERS! BLESSINGS!! The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 286 Jeremiah 51-52, Lamentations 1-3 - The Fall of Babylon and the Lament of Jerusalem DAILY word study : BUILD The word build in Greek is oikodomeō, meaning “to construct, to edify, or to strengthen.” In Scripture, it often describes both physical construction and spiritual growth. God calls us to build not just with bricks and timber, but with faith and obedience. Every time we give, serve, or encourage others, we help build His dwelling among His people. Reflect on this: Are you contributing to building God’s house — both physically and spiritually?

Tse Amable | October 12 2025 | Acts 17:22-31   KEY VERSE: “ The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands .” (Acts 17:24 , NIV) MESSAGE:   In Isaiah 66:1-2, Jehovah said prophetically, “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be? Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?”. A second reason why the Lord does not live in temples built by human hands is that He Himself had already built with His own hands your body to be His temple. Apostle Paul wrote, “ Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit , who is in you, whom you have received from God?” (1 Corinthians 6:19 NIV). Apostle Peter also wrote, “ YOU ALSO, LIKE LIVING STONES, ARE BEING BUILT INTO A SPIRITUAL HOUSE to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:5 NIV). In the Garden of Eden, Elohim dipped his hands into clay and created you to be his temple. The words of an old Christian song say, “I was born to be his dwelling place, a home for the presence of the Lord”. Another song says, “Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true”. Your body is God’s temple. He dwells in you . In the words of Apostle Paul, “you were bought at a price. THEREFORE HONOUR GOD WITH YOUR BODY” (1 Corinthians 6:20 NIV). You honour God by preserving your body, God’s temple, in a state of holiness by running away from every sin, especially sexual sins, which are against your body. FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE: How do you handle your body in order to portray it as the holy temple of God? The Bible warns, “ If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple” (1 Corinthians 3:17 NIV). As a living stone being built up into a spiritual house, you are important for the Body of Christ, the Church. If you are not occupying your place, the spiritual house is not complete. Therefore, know your place (your role) and stay connected. PRAYER: Father, I thank you that you have chosen to tabernacle in my body as your temple. Empower me through your Holy Spirit to live a pure and holy life. Help me to preserve my body as a holy habitation fit to be a home for the presence of the Most High God. The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING Day 285 Jeremiah 46-50 – Judgment on the Nations DAILY word study: BUILT BY HANDS The Greek word cheiropoiētos is translated as "built by hand." It combines cheir (hand) and poieō (to make), literally meaning “made by human hands.” In Scripture, it’s often used to describe man-made things — especially idols or physical structures that people treat as sacred. Paul used this word to emphasise that the Almighty God cannot be confined or limited to anything humans can create. The phrase reminds us that faith is not about buildings, rituals, or objects we make. God desires living temples — people shaped by His Spirit, not human craft. Reflect on this: Are you focusing more on the “things” built by hands or on the life God is building within you?
