God Always Remains Faithful

Rev. Tse Amable | Saturday, June 27, 2026 | Romans 3:1–8

KEY VERSE: “What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness?” (Romans 3:3, NIV)

MESSAGE:

One of the issues Apostle Paul addressed concerning the Jews was that, despite the many privileges God had given them, they did not match those blessings with faith. They were often faithless and unfaithful in their relationship with Him. This prompted Paul to ask the question in our key verse. His answer is a definite “No!”

Faithfulness is one of God’s unchanging attributes. To be faithful is to be steadfast, loyal, and consistently dependable in actions, commitments, and relationships. It means keeping your word, remaining true to your character, and standing firm even in difficult circumstances. Just as God is holy, merciful, and gracious, He is also faithful.

One of the clearest ways God demonstrates His faithfulness is by keeping His Word and fulfilling His promises. He always does what He says. The Bible declares, “The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made” (Psalm 145:13, NIV). In his letter to Timothy, Paul also writes, “If we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself” (2 Timothy 2:13, NIV). We can confidently depend on God because He always remains faithful.

FEET AND HANDS FOR THE MESSAGE:

How are you responding to God’s faithfulness? Do you take His willingness to forgive for granted while continuing in disobedience? God calls you to respond to His faithfulness by being faithful to Him. His promise is clear: “Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10, NIV).

PRAYER:

Father, I thank You for always remaining faithful, even when I am faithless. Help me never to take Your faithfulness for granted. Strengthen me to respond with a life of faithful obedience to You. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING.

SHOWERS! BLESSINGS!!

The 365 DAILY BIBLE READING

DAILY word study: NULLIFY The word translated "nullify" comes from the Greek word katargeō, which means "to render powerless," "to make ineffective," "to cancel," or "to bring to nothing." It describes something being deprived of its force or effect.

Paul asks whether the unbelief of some people could ever make God's faithfulness ineffective. His answer is emphatic: "Not at all!" Human failure cannot weaken God's character or overturn His promises. God's faithfulness stands because it is rooted in who He is, not in how people respond to Him.

Reflect on this:

People may break their promises, but God never breaks His. Let His unchanging faithfulness give you confidence to trust His Word and remain faithful to Him, even when your circumstances seem uncertain.
