The Simplicity of Salvation - III: No Distinction, No Disqualification
Rev. Tetteh-Annor Larbi | Thursday, October 8, 2026 | Romans 10:11–13

KEY VERSE: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
This part of the series ends with the widest possible invitation. Paul says there is no difference between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord is Lord of all and is rich toward all who call on Him.
The word “whosoever” shows that no ethnic background, personal history, failure, or reputation places anyone outside the reach of the Gospel. No one is too far gone, and no one is too respectable to need Christ. This is good news for us. If you have carried shame about your past, or wondered whether God could really receive someone like you, this verse answers directly. The Lord’s riches are not given according to status or record. He is rich toward all who call on Him in faith.
Calling on the Lord is not an empty phrase. It flows from the faith Paul has already described. The heart believes in the risen Christ, the mouth confesses Jesus as Lord, and the believer calls on Him for salvation. This truth also challenges the way we see others. We are not permitted to decide who is beyond Christ’s reach. It is easy to quietly write people off as too hardened, too different, or too unlikely, but Paul reminds us that the same Lord is Lord of all.
Having traced how salvation comes near and how we respond to it, we now see that the invitation is open to all who call on the Lord.
FEET AND HANDS OF THE MESSAGE:
Let this passage correct any limit you have placed on the reach of the Gospel. If shame has made you feel disqualified, call on the Lord in faith. If you have begun to doubt that someone else could ever come to Christ, ask God to reshape your view through the truth that He is Lord of all.
PRAYER:
Lord, You are rich toward all who call on You. Thank You for including me in Your invitation. Free me from shame that keeps me away and from attitudes that place others beyond Your reach. Help me trust Your saving grace and honour You as Lord of all. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING. SHOWERS! BLESSINGS!!

Day 281 Hosea 10–12 — Return to the Lord with Faithfulness, Love, and Justice
DAILY word study: WHOSOEVER The word “whosoever” reflects the Greek expression pas hos an (πᾶς ὃς ἂν), meaning “everyone who” or “whoever.”
Paul has already said in verse 12 that the same Lord is “Lord of all.” He then uses the same idea of all-inclusiveness in verse 13: everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
This gives the word special force. “Whosoever” leaves no ethnic group with a privileged doorway to salvation and no background automatically outside its reach. The Lord of all receives everyone who calls on Him in faith.
Reflect on This:
Are there people you have unconsciously excluded from the “whosoever” of God’s saving invitation?
